Single-Hole Kitchen Faucets: questions before you buy
For most kitchens, yes. A single hole kitchen faucet mounts through one opening, so there is less to wipe around, and on most of ours one lever controls both temperature and flow. Most also build the sprayer into the spout with a pull-down spray head, so you don't need a separate side sprayer.
Our single hole kitchen faucets need a 1 3/8-inch (35 mm) hole, the standard size in most kitchen sinks and countertops. If you are getting a new countertop, have your fabricator cut the faucet hole to that size.
Yes, with a deck plate. The plate sits under the faucet and covers the extra holes, including a leftover hole from an old side sprayer, as long as it is large enough to cover them. Deck plates are not included with our faucets, so add our kitchen sink plate in a matching finish: chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, gold, brushed gold, or gunmetal gray.
Most do. They have a pull-down spray head that switches between stream and spray, so there is no separate side sprayer to install, and some add a pot filler arm. The collection also includes a filtered drinking water faucet and a wall-mounted pot filler, which do not have a sprayer.
Most of ours fit countertops up to 1.5 inches thick. If yours is thicker, contact us before you order. The supply lines and mounting hardware come in the box and connect with standard 3/8-inch compression fittings.
Ours range from about 16 inches to 26 inches overall, so measure from the countertop to the bottom of the cabinet or window above the sink before you choose. The tallest spring spout designs suit an island or an open window run, and the shorter gooseneck designs fit under standard upper cabinets.
